Se encuentran representadas 26 FEDERACIONES de distintos países, con 86 jugadores en TORNEO A, 130 jugadores en Torneo B, 112 jugadores Torneo C lo que hace un total de 3 2 8 participantes de distintos países del mundo.
El Torneo está dividido en 3 categorías, teniendo en cuenta el RANKING INTERNACIONAL ELO de cada jugador. En la Provincia de Misiones, hay un total de 22 jugadores con dicho ranking producto de más de 20 Torneos válidos para ELO organizados por el CLUB AJEDREZ POSADAS, entidad afiliada a la FEDERACIÓN ARGENTINA DE AJEDREZ.
Se juega por sistema suizo a 9 rondas, con un ritmo d ejuego de 90 minutos para cada jugador con un incremento de 30 segundos por jugada. El total de premios alcanza la suma de 125.000 Euros distribuidos en los 3 torneos
